Mila Kunis is in the clear after childhood friend Kristina Karo dropped her $5,000 lawsuit against the actress for allegedly stealing her pet chicken 25 years ago.

Karo, an aspiring singer who in April accused Kunis of stealing "Doggie" more than two decades ago in Ukraine, told TMZ that she has decided to drop the suit out of forgiveness.

"I've learned to forgive in my heart the people who have wronged me, like Mila,” Karo told the celebrity gossip site, adding that she originally filed the suit to raise money for therapy but has now received an outpouring of financial support from fans. “There is only one judge and that is God. I pray for her soul and the soul of Doggie, that he has found peace finally in chicken heaven."

Kunis and husband Ashton Kutcher believe the aspiring Ukrainian singer originally filed the suit to get attention for her new music video, Give Me Green Card. The pair spoke out in April in a video posted to Meerkat.

"I was weeping . . . I was dumbfounded," Kunis says, joking about her reported reaction to the suit. "Which chicken did I steal?"

“The girl has a music video coming out the same time she is suing you?" Kutcher asks.

Kunis then says she is considering filing a countersuit because Karo’s music video “burned her eyes and hurt her body.”

Beyond the humor, Kunis assures her fans that “I would never steal someone else’s chicken. I wouldn’t!”
