A Massachusetts state trooper discovered the odd-looking license plate on a car she pulled over was actually made of cardboard and drawn to look like a regular license plate.
The trooper pulled over the car around 7:30 a.m. on Interstate 391 in Chicopee on Tuesday, The Associated Press reported.

In a poor attempt to replicate a real Massachusetts license plate, the letters and numbers were crudely drawn with a red marker on a piece of cardboard.
The word "Massachusetts" and the phrase "The Spirit of America" were written in the appropriate places in blue pen.
The 20-year-old woman driving the vehicle was charged with driving with a suspended license and attaching false plates.
