Consumers now have the chance to win Lucky Charms marshmallow-only boxes.
"General Mills is making childhood dreams come true," USA Today said of the promotion, which will give away 10,000 boxes of only marshmallows to those whose specially marked boxes of Lucky Charms turn out to be winners.
General Mills announced the promotion on Monday, Mental Floss noted.
Here’s how the contest works. Consumers will be able to purchase limited-edition Lucky Charms boxes. The boxes will have codes on its inside back panel.
From there, consumers can enter the 14-digit code, located on the panel, by going to MarshmallowOnly.com.
Winners will receive a special box of the marshmallow-only cereal.
The contest will continue through December.
This comes after 10 Lucky Charms marshmallow-only boxes were given away to consumers in a 2015 social media contest, USA Today noted.
"Fans of Lucky Charms are obsessed with our marshmallows," Priscilla Zee, senior marketing manager, said in a statement, according to USA Today. "We were overwhelmed with calls, e-mails, and tweets last year, asking for a box of our Lucky Charms marshmallows. So this year we wanted to give them even more opportunities to win."
According to Mental Floss, Lucky Charms first came on the scene thanks to product developer John Holahan.
Twitter users aren’t complaining about the Lucky Charms contest.
