Lauren Morelli, a writer on Netflix's hit show "Orange Is the New Black," divorced her husband after realizing she was gay earlier this summer, and now it's been revealed that she's dating actress Samira Wiley, who plays Poussey on the show.
Us Weekly reported Monday that the new couple recently stepped out together for the Emmys, "holding hands and dancing at several after-parties." Morelli also posted a couples selfie to her Instagram account a few hours before the big night.

The relationship is a new step for Morelli, who detailed her tale of self-discovery in a
thoughtful blog post in May.
"Five months after my wedding [to her then-husband], I flew to New York to start production on my first episode of 'Orange,' and from that moment on my life fell into a parallel rhythm with Piper's story in a way that went from interesting to terrifying in a matter of months," she wrote in the post.
"I was finally forced to consider a question that had never, ever occurred to me before: Holy s**t, am I gay?"
The answer to that question was an initially terrifying 'yes,' but a few months later, she reports that "I am now out to my family, my friends and most of my co-workers on 'Orange' (and now to you, dear reader). Now, when I am in the writers' room or on set, I no longer feel like I am stuck in the middle of two truths."
She also goes into detail about her ex-husband, who she said had a "life-threatening illness" for much of their relationship. Their split was reportedly amicable.
Earlier this month, Morelli continued to post to her social media accounts, and seemed to have a good sense of humor about her newfound self.
