Lark Voorhies, former star of the 1990s show "Saved By the Bell," made a rare public appearance as she attended the “Where We Started” premier in Hollywood last Friday.
The 40-year-old reportedly wasn’t readily recognizable as she was wearing two starkly different shades of makeup foundation,
according to E! News online.

“The shading around her eyes looked like a different color (like several shades lighter) than the makeup covering the rest of her face, causing a bizarre contouring line at the top of her cheeks,” the website reported. “Regardless, Voorhies seemed to be in a great mood during her rare outing.”
Voorhies, who was dressed in a white dress and silver heels, hasn’t been seen in public for the past two years,
the Daily Mail reported. She played the perky Lisa Turtle in NBC’s “Saved By the Bell” that ran from 1989 to 1993.
While the Daily Mail reported that Voorhies suffered a “foundation fail” on Friday night, the actress has reportedly endured much more serious issues.
A 2012 People magazine article quoted Voorhies’ mother as saying her daughter has bipolar disorder, something Voorhies later denied.
During the series of interviews with the pop culture magazine, Voorhies reportedly would “frequently stop mid-sentence and stare off, often mumbling to herself or to others who weren't there.”
"There are things that have traumatized her," Tricia Voorhies told People. "I care deeply about my daughter and I want her to resume her life."
Voorhies refuted her mother’s claims in a
video that was posted on TMZ in 2012, calling them “laughable.”
