Lady Gaga has scored the Super Bowl halftime show in February. Confirming a couple of weeks of rumors, she said, "It's a done deal."

She made the announcement official on her Twitter account Thursday night.

The Washington Post noted this will be the Grammy winner’s second consecutive appearance at the Super Bowl, following her singing of the national anthem prior to the Denver Broncos’ win over the Carolina Panthers in Super Bowl 50.

An NFL press release referred to Gaga as “a one-of-a-kind artist and performer” and said she’ll be making an appearance on this Sunday’s edition of “Fox NFL Sunday” where she’ll join co-hosts Curt Menefee and Michael Strahan “to offer a glimpse into what she has in store for this historic halftime show.”

Gaga also took to her Instagram account to echo her big announcement.

The six-time Grammy winner will also release her new album "Joanne" on Oct. 21, which features hits including "Poker Face," "Bad Romance," "Born This Way" and "Applause," ESPN noted.

According to NFL.com, the pop star's upcoming album debuted at #1 on iTunes in 60 countries and she was recently featured as Billboard's "Woman of the Year."

Gaga is considered one of the best-selling musicians of all time, as she's accumulated 30 million global album sales and 150 million single sales, NFL.com noted.

Leading up to the Super Bowl, fans can visit Pepsi.com to see behind-the-scenes footage of Gaga's journey to the Pepsi Zero Sugar Super Bowl halftime show, and they can also win sideline tickets to see her perform live at NRG Stadium in Houston, NFL.com noted.

With this announcement, Gaga joins a revered list of other profound entertainers who have recently graced the stage at Super Bowl halftime shows: Coldplay, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Madonna, The Who, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Prince, the Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, and more.

For the Roman numeral impaired, this will be Super Bowl LI and it and all those Super Bowl ads will air on the Fox network on Feb. 5.
