Tweeting on Monday, Chenoweth said she was waiting for the test results.
On Tuesday, Chenoweth thanked her supporters, indicating that her neck had been causing her some problems.
Back in 2012, Chenoweth suffered a head injury while shooting on the set of CBS" "The Good Wife" and didn’t return to the show.
TMZ reported that a large light fixture fell on the actress’ head after a gust of wind blew through the show’s set, knocking the multi-faceted actress to the ground, causing her to hit her head on concrete.
Chenoweth had also injured herself previously on the set of "Glee" and on stage as part of her Broadway performances in "Wicked" and "The Apple Tree."
Chenoweth, who grew up in Oklahoma, told Running magazine two years ago that she had been diagnosed with asthma and Meniere’s disease in her 30s. Meniere’s disease can lead to vertigo as it is an inner ear disorder.
Broadway World reported Tuesday that Chenoweth plans to return to her home state of Oklahoma later this fall as part of a PBS concert tour.
“I have several concerts as I mentioned and one in my home town of Tulsa, Oklahoma, at a theater they named after me,” Chenoweth said. “That concert is very special to me as it transcends any ego and allows my family name to be remembered."
Chenoweth went on to say she’s co-producing the concerts with PBS and that she plans to donate what she makes from the production back to the Tulsa theater so children and families have access to live performances. She also mentioned that she has a movie project with Jennifer Lopez in the works as well, called “Boys Next Door,” and that she’s recording a new album.
A winner of both Tonys and Emmys,
Chenoweth will be back on the Broadway stage early next year in the production “On the Twentieth Century.”
