Kevin Spacey is being sued for allegedly sexually assaulting actor Anthony Rapp as well as a second accuser when they were both minors. Court documents were filed on Wednesday in the Manhattan Supreme Court, detailing the alleged sexual encounters both Rapp and the second plaintiff, identified as C.D., had with Spacey.
In the filing, which was obtained by Fox News, Rapp recounts how Spacey, 61, reportedly "intentionally and voluntarily and without plaintiff’s consent engaged in an unwanted sexual advance" at a party when he was 14 years old. Rapp alleges Spacey grabbed his buttocks then lifted him onto the bed and lay down on top of him.
"As a result of the foregoing conduct, plaintiff was forced to extricate himself and, fearing for his safety, ran into the bathroom of defendant's apartment," the filing states.
Spacey then allegedly attempted to persuade Rapp to stay at his apartment, but the actor left shortly after.
Rapp first made the accusation in 2017. In an interview with Buzzfeed at the time, he explained that the "House of Cards" star "picked me up like a groom picks up the bride over the threshold" of his apartment. "But I don't, like, squirm away initially, because I'm like, 'What's going on?' And then he lays down on top of me."
Spacey later posted on Twitter that he did not remember the encounter but apologized to Rapp.
C.D. told a similar story in the court filing.
He claimed the two met at an acting class. Two years later, Spacey reportedly invited him to his apartment where he "engaged in sexual acts with the plaintiff." The court filing claims C.D. performed "anal intercourse on defendant Spacey and oral sex."
These sexual encounters took place on various occasions. During their final encounter, Spacey reportedly "attempted to anally sodomize the plaintiff, C.D." and continued his pursuits until the plaintiff "was able to free himself … and fled the defendant’s apartment."
According to the court documents, Rapp and C.D. "sustained psychological injuries, including but not limited to, severe emotional distress, humiliation, fright, anger, depression and anxiety."
They are suing for an unspecified amount.
