Kayleigh McEnany hosted a "real news" program on President Donald Trump's Facebook page on Monday, the same day the Republican National Committee named McEnany as the party's new spokesperson and the day after the CNN commentator revealed she was leaving the cable network.

Announcing that she was broadcasting from Trump Tower in New York, McEnany praised the president's accomplishments and praised the results in a video the Facebook page said was paid for by Donald J. Trump for President, Inc.

McEnany hailed the country's latest jobs report and the Senate RAISE Act to reform legal immigration.

"Americans deserve a raise and President Trump is finally putting the American worker first," McEnany said in the video.

The Washington Examiner said Trump's daughter-in-law Lara Trump, a former producer with the syndicated news show "Inside Edition," hosted a similar "real news" video on Trump Facebook page last week.

"Kayleigh will be an integral part of our party's ongoing commitment to promoting the Republican message to Americans across the country," RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel said. "Her wealth of experience will be invaluable to the RNC as we continue to support President Trump and build on our majorities in Congress as we head into 2018."

McEnany, 29, a Harvard Law School graduate, was a paid contributor on CNN since 2016, were she defended Trump, The Hill said. She started her television career as a producer for former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee's Fox News program.

"I am excited to be joining the RNC at such an important and historic time in our country," McEnany said. "I'm eager to talk about Republican ideas and values and have important discussions about issues affecting Americans across this country."

She celebrated her new roles on Twitter.

McEnany did face some blow back, with some calling it propaganda.
