Rapper Kanye West reiterated his support for President Donald Trump in a series of New Year's Day tweets.

West has been vocal about his backing of Trump, both on social media and in person — including during an Oval Office meeting in October that was open to the press.

West announced in early November he would stop talking about politics. He seems to have reversed that decision.

"Trump all day," West tweeted Monday afternoon.

That was followed by several other messages that showed West still supports Trump and his belief that not all African-Americans need to be Democrats. Here's a sampling of what he said:

3:31 p.m.: "Just so in 2019 you know where I stand."

3:32 p.m.: "They will not program me."

3:33 p.m.: "Blacks are 90% Democrats. That sounds like control to me."

West also hinted that he may run for president in the near future, something he has said before.

"2024," West tweeted.

He added later, "One of my favorite of many things about what the Trump hat represents to me is that people can't tell me what to do because I'm black."
