Kanye West, the rapper and Donald Trump supporter who was released from the hospital just two weeks ago after being admitted for exhaustion, met briefly with the president-elect at Trump Tower in New York Tuesday morning.
A Trump spokesperson confirmed to The Hill that West met with the president-elect, but provided no other details.
West, who is married to Kim Kardashian, spent more than a week in the hospital last month after suffering from some sort of breakdown that required police intervention. The incident came after West canceled a leg of his Saint Pablo tour and after his reality star wife was robbed at gunpoint in a Paris hotel in October.
The 39-year-old "Jesus Walks" rapper, who said at last year's MTV Video Music Awards that he would run for president in 2020, revealed to an audience recently that he did not vote in the 2016 election but, if he had, "I would have voted for Trump," he said, according to The Washington Post.
