"Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" has reclaimed the weekend box office top spot over the Super Bowl weekend, taking in $11 million in its seventh weekend in theaters, The Wrap reported.

It is the first time a movie released in December took the No. 1 box office spot in February since "Titanic" 20 years ago, The Wrap said. Overall, "Jumanji" has pulled in $352.7 million domestically and $855 million worldwide.

The Wrap said, though, that it could be Jumanji's last hooray with the anticipated "Fifty Shades Freed" being released this week along with the animated "Peter Rabbit" and Marvel's "The Black Panther" hitting theaters in two weeks.

Still, it marks the biggest domestic box office ever for action screen star Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, who has been a star in the popular "Fast and Furious" franchise, The Wrap said.

"I didn't think it would get this far, so why not ('Jumanji' topping $900 million globally)," one rival distribution movie executive told Deadline Hollywood about the "Jumanji's" surprising staying power in theaters.

Deadline wrote that "Jumanji" has "already doubled, and in some cases, tripled early international projections" while the film has made strong showings in all major markets and critical Asian markets like Malaysia and Indonesia.

Following "Jumanji" at the box office this past weekend, according to The Hollywood Reporter, were "Maze Runner: The Death Cure" with $10.2 million, "Winchester," with $9.3 million, "The Greatest Showman" with $7.8 million, "Hostiles" with $5.5 million, "The Post" with $5.2 million, "12 Strong" with $4.7 million, "Den of Thieves" with $4.7 million, "The Shape of Water" with $4.3 million, and "Paddington 2" with $3.1 million.

The Wrap reported that "Maze Runner: The Death Cure," dropped 58 percent drop from its $24.1 million opening weekend and had a 10-day total of $39.8 million. The last film in the "Maze Runner" series, "The Scorch Trials," had a 10-day total of $51.9 million in 2015, which equates to a 23 percent drop, the website said.
