Actor Josh Brolin has checked into a Northern California rehab facility for substance abuse, according to Us Weekly.
The news comes less than a month after the 45-year-old actor was filmed in two drunken incidents over the weekend of Nov. 2. The first was an
argument with a cab driver at a drive-thru window, TMZ reported, and later, he allegedly fought with a bouncer in front O'Brien's Irish Pub in Santa Monica, Calif.

"He realized he needed help and is
committed to his sobriety," an insider told Us Weekly about Brolin.
On Nov. 4,
Brolin told TMZ that he was quitting drinking, in response to questions about whether he regretted the events from the previous weekend.
"Completely done," he said at the time.
Brolin is the son of actor James Brolin. He played President George W. Bush in Oliver Stone's "W" in 2008, and is also known for his role in "No Country for Old Men," "Milk" and "Gangster Squad." He has been married to actress Diane Lane since 2004, though the couple filed for divorce in February 2013.
