Arizona GOP Sen. John McCain says he opposes sending U.S. ground troops to Libya, even though NATO is not getting the job

done, according to
Politico.
"Our NATO allies neither have the assets or the will" to topple Libyan strongman Moammar Gadhafi,” McCain said Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
McCain, who went to Libya this week, called on President Barack Obama to commit more air resources to the fight, but did not endorse a major escalation. McCain also said “no,” when asked if Obama should commit ground troops.
