J.K. Rowling has some ideas about how to protest President Donald Trump's planned visit to the United Kindgom in the fall — use his tweets against him.
The "Harry Potter" author shared her ideas on — where else — Twitter on Tuesday.
Many Brits slammed Trump for his tweets about London Mayor Sadiq Khan after seven people died and 48 were injured in a Saturday terror attack, the third in as many months.
Khan then floated the possibility of canceling Trump's state visit on Monday.
"I don't think we should roll out the red carpet to the president of the USA in the circumstances where his policies go against everything we stand for," Khan told London's 4 News.
"When you have a special relationship it is no different from when you have got a close mate. You stand with them in times of adversity, but you call them out when they are wrong. There are many things about which Donald Trump is wrong."
But British foreign secretary Boris Johnson said Tuesday he sees no reason to cancel the trip.
"The invitation has been issued and accepted and I see no reason to change that but as far as what Sadiq Khan has said about the reassurances he's offered the people of London, I think he was entirely right to speak in the way he did," Johnson told Reuters.
