After 14 years, Jessica Simpson finally got the last word on a Chicken of the Sea mixup that made her the butt of countless jokes.

After Whole Foods announced it is recalling 440 pounds of its chicken salad because the supplier had mixed in tuna in by mistake, Simpson tweeted, “It happens to the best of us @WholeFoods.”

The singer, actress, and fashion mogul was referring to an incident made famous on her reality show “Newlyweds” back in 2003. Simpson was eating out of a can of Chicken of the Sea tuna and asked then-husband Nick Lachey, “Is this chicken what I have, or is this fish?”

As Lachey stared at her, she said, “I know it’s tuna, but it says Chicken by the Sea. Is that stupid?” Lachey then explained that it was a way of describing the tuna and she got it.

Twitter appreciated the reference and the memory.
