A Jeopardy contestant tricked host Alex Trebek into saying "Turd Ferguson," a reference to a hilariously infamous "Saturday Night Live" skit, during an episode this week.

On Wednesday's show, a contestant named Talia had to come up with an answer for the following: "This song from a 1999 animated film about censorship had a word censored from its Oscar performance."

Since she had no idea that the answer was "What is 'Blame Canada?'" from the movie "South Park: Bigger, Longer, Uncut," Talia leaned on the infamous "Celebrity Jeopardy" skit featuring Will Ferrell and Norm Macdonald as actor Burt Reynolds. Her final answer? "What is the love ballad of Turd Ferguson?"

Macdonald has portrayed Reynolds several times on "SNL," giving himself the pseudonym Turd Ferguson, according to The Wall Street Journal.

"Trebek read her answer as the crowd laughed and people on social media went wild," USA Today's Mary Bowerman wrote. "While she may not have won the game, she won the hearts of many on the Internet."

Many on social media indeed took delight at the answer.
