Jeff Lake, a California attorney, is facing charges in connection to "Liv's Playboy Mansion Party," his 18-year-old daughter's birthday bash that reportedly featured underage drinking and scantily clad teens.

Police broke up Olivia Lake's Friday party in Poway, California, after neighbors called to complain. Her father, Jeff Lake, was later hit with with a social host ordination violation, which reportedly makes it a crime to host a party where underage drinking occurs. The attorney could face six months in jail, as well as large fines if he is convicted.

"You have a party like this, it's almost like you're giving out hand grenades as party favors," Poway Mayor Steve Vaus told 10News.com. "It's a disaster waiting to happen."

In a statement to 10 News, Lake said that specific instructions were given in the party invitations that it would be a "clean" party and that anyone who made trouble would be kicked out.

Under costume ideas, the invitation said, "For apparel feel free to interpret the theme how you'd like but if you need some ideas, guys — robes, Chip 'n' Dales dancers, Hugh Hefner-styled clothing, whatever you're comfortable with. And ladies — Playboy bunny costumes, bunny tails . . . tutus, leotards, anything that's in your comfort zone."

The invitation provided to News 10 by Lake said "My parents will be home" and told everyone not to have any "issues" so they don't get the party "rolled, canceled, or ruined."

The Pomerado News reported that police found two teenage boys, one 19 and one 16, passed out in the house when they arrived. Jeff Lake will be charged $3,600 to cover police department costs relating to the call, the newspaper said, including the usage of a helicopter.

Police estimated that 150 to 200 teenagers were at the party, and that many underage people were drinking alcohol, News10 said.
