Jarret Stoll, the L.A. Kings forward and boyfriend of Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews, was charged with one felony count of cocaine possession this week following his April arrest in Las Vegas.

ESPN reported that the charge, filed by the Clark County district attorney's office in Nevada, could land Stoll on probation or up to four years in prison if he's convicted.

David Z. Chesnoff, Stoll's attorney, told the sports network that he is "hopeful there will be a resolution that will be a fair one, and we're working on it."

According to Sporting News, Stroll was arrested while going through security pat downs for a Wet Republic pool party in Las Vegas. This district attorney alleged that a security guard found a pink baggie with 3.3 grams of cocaine and 8.1 grams of ecstasy gel caps in his shorts.

Stoll, 32, was a member of the Kings when the team won the Stanley Cup in both 2012 and 2014.

He will become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, and is not expected to return to the Kings.

A native of Saskatchewan, Canada, Stoll could face immigration complications as a result of the recent charge and any resulting conviction.
