Academy Award-winning actor James Cromwell was arrested again Monday for protesting at Sea World during the “Orca Encounter” show.

Cromwell, 77, wasn’t happy with the park’s treatment of the animals used in its shows, Fox News reported. A Facebook Live video showed the actor talking to the crowd with a megaphone during the show and being removed with other protesters from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals.

“Orcas in the wild ... swim with their families,” Cromwell said, the Los Angeles Times reported. “Here they do not swim with their families. They are separated from them.” At one point in the video, it looked like an audience member tried to slap the megaphone out of Cromwell’s hand.

Cromwell, who appeared in movies like “Babe” and “The Green Mile,” recently spent seven days in jail after refusing to pay fines related to a December 2015 protest at a New York power plant. He also spent a week in jail earlier in July after being found guilty of obstructing traffic in another protest, Fox News reported.

The actor was released shortly after being detained, the L.A. Times reported. He later released a statement, saying, “Orcas deserve a full life in the ocean, not a life sentence of swimming endless circles until they drop dead from disease. My friends at PETA and I want Sea World to move these intelligent animals to seaside sanctuaries without delay.”

Sea World spokesman David Koontz called the protest “nothing more than a PETA publicity stunt,” the L.A. Times reported. “The truth is that all our animals, including our orcas, get extraordinary veterinary care from a dedicated and loving team of experts.”

Cromwell got plenty of support on Twitter as well, although some disagreed.
