Every March 8 since the early 1900's, thousands of events across the world celebrate International Women's Day, a day that marks achievements by women and aims to inspire them.

There have been many changed in the past century that establish an attitudinal shift in both women's and society's thoughts about women's equality. A number of events across the world marks the shift, ranging from political rallies, business conferences, government activities and networking events.

Additionally, in the U.S., the entire month of March is Women's History Month.
