Disney Studios announced Tuesday that it’s pushing back the launch date of “Indiana Jones 5” by a year to July 9, 2021.

According to Reuters, script issues are blamed for causing the delays in production, the fifth in the adventure series, which will be directed by Steven Spielberg.

Assuming Disney keeps to its new schedule, Harrison Ford, who plays the title role, will be days away from turning 79 when the film is released.

In the same statement, the studio announced Dwayne Johnson's "Jungle Cruise" will hit theaters Oct. 11, 2019, and Angelina Jolie's "Maleficent 2" will open in May of the following year.

Lucasfilm and Disney execs first announced "Indiana Jones 5" in March 2016. At that time they gave a release date of July 19, 2019, but that was later moved back to summer 2020.

Given the lead actor’s age, folks on social media suggested their own title and script changes.

But at least one disagreed.
