Australian pop star Iggy Azalea sang her hit song “Fancy” to a crowd of mostly teenaged girls on the "Today" show Friday.
Introducing Azalea before her set in the Today’s summer concert series,
"Today"'s Carson Daly called Azalea “pop’s biggest break-out star of 2014” and noted that her first album debuted in the No. 1 spot, something no other international female rap performer has ever done.

In addition, her first two singles hit the top of the charts, which hasn’t been done since the Beatles were around in the 1960s.
“Known for her sassy attitude, her sensational style and of course, her infectious hip-hop, this awesome Aussie is just getting started,” Daly introduced the star.
In a brightly colored, midriff-baring workout suit, Azalea dominated the stage with her swinging hips and charismatic performance, all the while backed up by screaming fans.
In addition to “Fancy,” the star performed two songs, “Work” and “Bounce.”
Excited posts about the live performance showed up around the Internet.
In an interview posted on the website for "Today," Azalea shared that the most fun thing she has done on the road was taking a propeller plane to go visit the breeders in Ohio who raised her puppy.
“I just miss doing normal stuff,” she told “Today” about being on the road. “I miss waking up and eating lots of bacon and watching really bad reality TV and eating cold pizza in your fridge. It’s really nice to have room service and feel really pampered, but I think you notice when you’re away all the time your little home comforts and small things like that that you kind of miss. It’s hard to order cold pizza at a hotel.”
