Honey Boo Boo, the 10-year-old former reality television star, released a music video this week that also features Mama June and her sister Pumpkin.
According to People magazine, Alana Thompson's "Movin' Up" was created with the help of singer/songwriter Adam Barta.
"Started out as a pageant queen/ Then on TV doing my thing/ Now movin' up in the world/ New fun times with my girls," she raps, referencing the first show she appeared on, TLC's "Toddlers in Tiaras." During the catchy chorus, she repeats, "Honey Boo Boo Bop/ Do The Honey Boo Boo Bop!"
Thompson's father, known as Sugar Bear, makes a brief cameo in the video while the whole family dances around to the beat.
Noticeably absent, however, was Thompson's sister, Anna Cardwell, who is suing Mama June for allegedly never remitting her payout for appearances on TLC's "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," which ran from 2012-2014.
The show was canceled after it was revealed that Mama June was having a relationship with a convicted sex offender.
Not everyone was a fan of the new video, and one writer at The Daily Beast pulled no punches in criticizing it.
"In this video, the unfortunate 10-year-old star of the show, whose real name is Alana Thompson, is just as tragically WTF as you would expect, and her musical chops are on par with what we’ve come to expect from an actor on TLC,"
wrote James Joiner.
"Go ahead. Watch it once all the way through, laugh a little, feel some secondhand embarrassment, and prepare yourself for the no doubt forthcoming Duggar ratchet rap record. What a time to be alive."
