Former Playboy bunny Holly Madison, author of the new tell-all book "Down the Rabbit Hole," is out for unjustified "revenge" on ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner, says another former playmate who happens to have her own book out.

"She portrays herself as a victim," Izabella St. James told The Daily Mail in an interview this week. "She does not take any responsibility for her choices or actions. Instead, she chooses to vilify Hef, vilify former boyfriend Criss Angel, vilify the friends she never made, and the girls who didn't like her.

"It's a self-serving read," St. James continued, "and I think it is almost like a girl that was never liked is finally having her revenge on the nice, cool kids that didn't accept her in their circle, which I think is a very high-school approach. It is a way for her to justify the things she did to get to where she is today, because Holly did some really nasty things."

Izabella, author of her own tell-all book, "Bunny Tales," lived with Madison and Hefner at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills for two years starting in 2002. While Madison's book has rocketed to the top of the New York Times Best Seller list, St. James' book — published years ago — never did nearly as well.

She told The Mail that Madison was strangely obsessed with Hefner from the moment she met him, and began calculating how she could become girlfriend No. 1.

"She had a dark obsession with Hef, with becoming everything Hef, even to the point where she started eating exactly the same meals as him. Suddenly everything that was his favorite was her favorite. He ate Campbell's Chicken Soup from the can everyday for lunch with crackers. All of a sudden, that was her favorite lunch," said the polish beauty.

"It was so bizarre and really weird. The girls did not really like her because she was an outcast, and she was a weirdo. She was so obsessed with Hef."

Ultimately, St. James says she feels sorry for Madison.

"We have seen her do some extremely humiliating things sexually and I think part of her bitterness and humiliation and vengefulness comes from that," she said.

"I feel bad for her, but she never had to do it if it was so miserable. She stayed there for seven years. I left after two because I had more than enough, and I didn't have to do 10% of what her involvement with him was."
