Adolf Hilter's Mercedes-Benz 770K, reportedly from the former German dictator's personal garage, goes up for auction in Arizona in 2018 with 10 percent of the sell going to Holocaust education projects.

Worldwide Auctioneers is involved in the sale of the so-called "Super Mercedes," which has bullet-proof windscreens and armored body panels, RT.com reported.

The auctioneers said that Hilter was a passenger in the vehicle for several parades, including a visit of Italy's dictator Benito Mussolini, as well as the invasion of France in 1940.

On its website, Worldwide Auctioneers said that the 1939 Mercedes-Benz 770K Offener Tourenwagen was a "tour de force of design and engineering and was once part of the Imperial Palace Auto Collection." Worldwide stated that it is the last of eight "pre-series" W150-generation 770K models left.

Worldwide stated that the vehicle was seized by the U.S. Army in 1945. Once it was transported to the United States from France, the vehicle had several owners, according to RT.com.

The vehicles comes with an eight-cylinder engine, 155 horsepower naturally aspirated and 230 horsepower with supercharger engaged, five-speed manual transmission with overdrive top, independent coil-spring front suspension, and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes, Worldwide noted.

"The purpose of this display is absolutely not to glorify Hitler and his destructive policies, no," the late German historian Ludwig Kosche had written of the vehicle, per Worldwide. "It is to show you one of the outstanding cars of the century, built by gifted people, and representing the highest in craftsmanship."

"But it is also as a memorial to the fighting prowess of American soldiers that we take pride in displaying this showpiece of a fallen dictator. And above all, as a reminder that the evil which this car symbolizes, must never again be allowed to happen," he continued.
