The “Justice League” movie post-production team will have to spend millions of dollars digitally removing Henry Cavill’s mustache from scenes recently reshot due to scheduling difficulties, according to USA Today.
According to Variety, new "Justice League" director Joss Whedon, who took over for Zach Snyder after a family tragedy caused him to leave the helm, has scheduled several reshoots that have caused Cavill to go back and forth between shooting “Mission Impossible: 6” and “Justice League,” which has created a problem for his facial hair.
Cavill is contractually obligated to wear a mustache for the "MI:6" movie, which means that the “Justice League” team will need to remove it digitally in the new scenes featuring Superman, Variety reported.
When social media learned about the mustache, many on Twitter had great fun with the tidbit.
Fan art has even sprung up to add to the humor.
