Heidi Klum Bomb Threat: 'Germany's Next Top Model' Live Finale Evacuated

By    |   Friday, 15 May 2015 04:54 PM

A bomb threat to “Germany’s Next Top Model” forced Heidi Klum and 8,500 people to evacuate an arena in Mannheim, Germany, Thursday night.

An unknown woman called in the threat, which effectively canceled the scheduled live finale of the show, NBC News reported.

Klum posted a photo on Twitter from the evening, which roughly translates to, “The evening did unfortunately not end the way I wished for! Safety comes first!"

The Mannheim Police Department said in a statement that bomb-sniffing dogs searched the arena and found nothing, and a package initially thought to be suspicious was later cleared, NBC reported.

On its Twitter page, "Germany’s Next Top Model" said that those who paid for tickets for the finale will receive full refunds, but also announced that the finale will take place on May 28.

The show’s broadcaster ProSieben told NBC it was “very relieved that nothing bad happened."
