Hayley Hasselhoff was charged with DUI after police reportedly found the daughter of actor David Hasselhoff passed out in her Mercedes on a Los Angeles freeway off-ramp last month.
Her blood alcohol level was allegedly 0.14, TMZ reported, adding that she was taken to a hospital before being booked. The legal limit in California is 0.08.
The incident occurred over Mother's Day weekend, and witnesses called 911 after her car came to a stop on the off-ramp at about 4 a.m. on May 13, People magazine reported.
The 24-year-old model and "Sharknado 4" actress reportedly was found passed out with her foot on the brake, People said.
Now that Hasselhoff has officially been charged, she could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine, TMZ noted, adding that such a sentence "is almost unheard of though for first, and even second-time offenders."
She reportedly failed a field sobriety test at the Fallbrook exit off the 101 freeway, The Daily Mail reported.
Hasselhoff began her modeling career at age 14 as a plus-size model with Ford Modeling Agency, according to her bio on IMDb. She has modeled for retailers including Torrid and Style369.
She recently signed on as a designer to do a collection with U.K. plus-size retailer Elvi.
Her acting roles also include appearing in the ABC Family series "Huge" and on Disney XD's "Pair of Kings."
Her father is best known for his role in the series "Baywatch."
