David Hasselhoff claims he broke his back — well, a vertebra — in a recent dune buggy accident, but he didn't appear to be hurt too bad in a new interview with the Daily Mail.

While riding a quad bike-style beach vehicle, the 62-year-old former “Baywatch” star took a risky leap over a sand dune, leading to a spine injury after a heavy landing.

“So I’m flying through the air, it crashed down,” Hasselhoff told the Daily Mail in a new interview. “I broke a vertebra. It’s broken right now.”

The injury must not have been too debilitating because after explaining the incident to the reporter, Hasselhoff stood from his chair and reenacted the scene, Stuff.co.nz reported.

Hasselhoff did not comment on when or where the crash occurred or if he will be needing surgery.

The “Britain’s Got Talent” judge did, however, share some information on his relationship with girlfriend Hayley Roberts, sharing that he does not see the partnership continuing forever.

"To be honest, the reason I haven’t got married yet is because I know it’s not going to be a perfect relationship," he told the U.K. newspaper. "We’re not going to grow old together, let’s face it. Sometimes I think I love her enough to say, 'Go and find a man of your age and have a life.'"

The couple has been together since 2011.

“We split up before, a long time ago, and I was sick,” Hasselhoff said. “She’s my best friend.”

The father of two also spoke about his relationship with his daughters, Taylor Ann and Hayley Amber, while commenting on if he would ever have a child with Roberts.

“I've got two bad knees and a broken back, but I'm still dancing,” Hasselhoff said. “I'd take the kid everywhere with me. That's what I did with my girls. I was a good dad.”

The Examiner threw some water on that comment, however, in mentioning that Hasselhoff has dealt with alcohol-related problems in the past. Specifically, the outlet cited a home video of a drunk Hasselhoff that was released in 2007 and filmed by his daughter Taylor Ann, which led to a two-week suspension of his visitation rights.

The U.K. channel Dave announced in 2014 that Hasselhoff would star in "Hoff the Record," a sitcom of the actor’s fictionalized self. The series is to premiere sometime this year, and it is unknown if Hasselhoff’s injury will impact his future work.
