Harvey Weinstein’s wife, fashion mogul Georgina Chapman, is said to be “furious and embarrassed” about the harassment allegations against her husband.

Chapman, 41, owner of the fashion brand Marchesa, has provided gowns for red carpet events to many famous actresses, People reported. In addition to the impact of the many allegations on their marriage, Chapman is also concerned about the repercussions on her fashion line in the wake of Weinstein’s removal from the company he founded with his brother Bob.

“Georgina is furious and embarrassed,” a source told People. “She is very upset but not rushing to file for divorce. The couple was together in a Los Angeles hotel Monday, multiple sources told People. They married in 2007 and have a daughter, India Pearl, 7, and son Dashiell Max, 4, together.

Another source said that a split was “inevitable” but wouldn’t happen right away, People reported. Still another source said that Chapman was talking about the incidents of harassment “like they happened before they were married.”

However, an exposé in The New York Times referenced assistant Lauren O’Connor’s statements that as recently as 2015, she was made to arrange liasons with budding actresses for Weinstein that made her feel uncomfortable.

Chapman was also worried because Marchesa was partially dependent on Weinstein’s connections for its success, People reported. “Georgina didn’t have those connections for Marchesa to be successful, but Harvey did,” a source told People. “Georgina is in a tricky situation now. She truly loves her life.”

“Harvey is the one with all the friends,” yet another source said, People reported.

Although Weinstein, 65, apologized for his behavior, he denied that any physical contact was coerced. Multiple women have accused him of sexual assault, however.

Twitter users didn’t seem to have much sympathy for Chapman, seeing her as having benefitted from Weinstein’s fame for many years.
