'God' in Eggplant: Cook Slicing Vegetable Finds 'Miraculous Image'

A chef at Gino's Restaurant in Louisiana has found God . . . in an eggplant.

It happened Monday when Jermarcus Brady was slicing vegetables. The line cook cut into an eggplant and was shocked by the pattern that the seeds formed.

"I saw a miraculous image formed by the seeds," Brady told WAFB.com. "It spelled out the word God."

Brady immediately showed the piece of eggplant to his co-workers and the restaurant's co-owner, Gino Marino.

"You could cut one million eggplants and you'd probably never see that again, it's that rare," Marino told the local station. "God is within us and he has different ways of showing it in our lives, and this is just one way of showing it."

"God" eggplant will now go down in history with the likes of Banana Peel Jesus, Pancake Jesus, Potato Chip Cross, and Cheeto Jesus.
