A giant continental rabbit named Atlas is looking for a new home in Scotland, but potential owners beware: Already the size of west highland terrier, the rabbit will require a healthy supply of hay, carrots, and apples because he's not even fully grown yet.

The Scottish Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals posted on its website this week that Atlas had become too much of handful for his current owners and needs a new address.

"Atlas is already about the size of a westie and is still young with some growing to do," Anna O'Donnell, manager of the SPCA center in Glasgow, said in a statement. "He is a very friendly rabbit who loves attention and getting cuddles. Atlas is also an inquisitive boy who makes everyone laugh with his mischievous character."

Giant continental rabbits can grow up to four feet long and weigh nearly 45 pounds, according to The Guardian. They can easily munch through a bale of hay a week and devour some 2,000 carrots and 700 apples annually.

"We are looking for a specific home for Atlas due to his breed and size," O'Donnell stated on the SPCA website. "A standard rabbit hutch won’t do so his new owner will need plenty of space for him. Atlas needs an owner with the knowledge to properly care for him, so ideally someone who has kept a continental giant before."

Atlas' ears alone made quite an impression in the Twitter photo posted by the SPCA on Monday.

Former British Playboy model Katie Price tweeted that she wanted the take in Atlas.
