George Noory, the host of the "Coast to Coast AM" overnight radio show, has been nominated for the National Radio Hall of Fame, WND.com reported.

Noory has hosted "Coast to Coast AM" for the past 15 years, replacing the late Art Bell. Noory's listening audience includes millions across 600 radio stations, discussing everything during his four-hour format from UFOs to efforts at global government to mysteries of the paranormal, WND.com said.

According to the "Coast to Coast" website, Noory has been nominated in the spoken word on-air personality category.

"George has been nominated in recognition of his many years of on-air success and the loyal listenership he has developed," the "Coast to Coast" website said. "This is an exemplary honor as nearly 800 individuals were reviewed, with only 24 individuals being selected for nomination."

Noory won three Emmy Awards while working as a news executive at KSDK-TV in St. Louis, according to his "Coast to Coast" biography. He also served a director of news planning and development at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis.

He has co-written several books including 2006's "Worker In The Light: Unlock Your Five Senses And Liberate Your Limitless Potential," and 2009's "Journey to the Light," with William J. Birnes; 2011's "Talking to the Dead," with Rosemary Ellen Guiley; and 2015's "Someone is Hiding Something: What Happened to Malaysia Airlines Flight 370?," with Richard Belzer and David Wayne.

"Having taken his show to heights thought impossible by industry experts in the overnight time slot, he's got the track record, credentials, audience ratings, sponsors and personal work ethic to justify the honor," WND.com wrote. "And he's got one more thing – the love and the loyalty of millions of listeners."

Fans can vote for Noory via texting by dialing 96000 and sending the text message 700, or going to the website www.radiovote.com. Votes are limited to one vote per email address and one cellphone.
