"Friends" star Cole Sprouse has admitted it was "quite difficult" having to film alongside Jennifer Aniston in the hit sitcom. The actor, who played Ross' son Ben from season six to eight, opened up about his experience on Drew Barrymore's talk show, explaining that he had a massive crush on Aniston, which made working with her awkward.

"It actually made it quite difficult to work in front of her, I must admit," Sprouse said via Best Life. "I would stammer a lot and I'd forget my lines."

It did not help that staff working on the set of "Friends" found the whole thing rather amusing.

"I was teased a little bit by the crew because they saw it and I would just forget [my lines] and be looking at her," Sprouse continued.

This is not the first time Sprouse has revealed his feelings for Aniston.

In a previous interview on "The Late Show With Stephen Colbert," the actor recalled the moment he "fell in love" with his former co-star.

"I remember feeling so intimidated by my crush on her that I completely blanked and forgot all my lines and she was just staring at me waiting," he said of one scene. It was at that point that one of the crew members called out, "the little boy has a crush," and Sprouse said the comment "broke" him.

Sprouse reiterated his feelings for Aniston during a 2019 appearance on NBC's "Today."

"I'm pretty sure I fell in love with Jennifer Aniston, which the whole world had at that point," he said. "But I do remember being quite intimidated around her because of that. I remember blanking on my lines and having a kind of stage fright when she sat next to me on the couch in one episode."
