Christina Anstead, star of the hit TV show "Flip or Flop," is splitting from her husband, Ant Anstead, after just two years of marriage. The 37-year-old announced the "difficult decision" on Instagram on Friday.
"Ant and I have made the difficult decision to separate," Christina captioned a photo of the couple walking into the sunset on the beach. "We are grateful for each other and as always, our children will remain our priority. We appreciate your support and ask for privacy for us and our family as we navigate the future."
Christina and Ant, who share a one-year-old son, Hudson London, together, first started dating in October 2017 and tied the knot the following year in a secret wedding held in Newport Beach, California, according to People. Weeks before breaking the news, Ant announced on Instagram that he was taking a break from social media in order to focus on his own wellbeing.
"The world is crazy right now. And for all the good things social media has it also carries a toxic element!," he wrote alongside a video of Christina.
On Monday, Christina was spotted with ex-husband and co-star, Tarek El Moussa, on the set of "Flip or Flop." The former couple, who share Taylor, 9, and son Brayden, 5, together have just started filming the tenth season for their HGTV real-estate show. They were married from 2009 to 2018 and have been hosting "Flip or Flop" since 2013, according to Daily Mail.
