spraying Febreze into a customer's face has been fired, he told TMZ.

Edlinger said Family Dollar didn’t give a specific reason for firing him but said it was due to the "incidents."
“Do you regret spraying the Febreze in the woman’s face?” TMZ asked Edlinger.
“I would never want to create harm to anyone. But at the end of the day, like, I’m a hard-working guy. I worked my way up to be a salaried store manager with that company. I don’t regret it. Girl, you needed some Febreze,” Edlinger said.
The original video has more than 1.2 million views and has generated a lot of colorful commentary, some on Edlinger’s expletive-laced tantrum (he actually stamped his feet at one point) and many on the three women in the car, whom Edlinger accused of shoplifting.
In the midst of numerous colorful comments online, one stood out for its simplicity.
“He overstepped his bounds as a loss prevention officer,” a commenter wrote on the video.
Edlinger confirmed to TMZ that Family Dollar’s policy is to avoid chasing down shoplifters, which is common in many retail establishments.
Many supported Edlinger’s actions.
“Working as a store manager for a large retail chain I have to say this guy was out of line. On the other side of it good for HIM,” one person wrote on the TMZ article.
