Erin Andrews Appears At Home on 'DWTS' as She Ribs Maksim Chmerkovskiy

Fox Sports reporter Erin Andrews appeared to be at home as the new co-host of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars" on Monday as she shared banter with her former dancing partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

Andrews, a former ESPN reporter, joined "Dancing with the Stars" in February, replacing Brooke Burke-Charvet, who was fired by producers, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Andrews, 35, finished third with Chmerkovskiy on the show's 10th season.

Andrews said she has no regrets about "sticking it" to her former partner on Monday.

"I stuck it to Maks all season long when we were dancing," Andrews told E! News. "I think that's the best way to coexist with Maks ... to just, you know, give it back to him. He loves it deep down. He's a big boy, he can handle it!"

Chmerkovskiy is dancing with Olympic gold medal-winning ice dancer Meryl Davis in Season 18.

He told E! News that he decided to take Andrews' ribbing in stride, for now at least.

"I just wanted her to have an easy first show," Chmerkovskiy said. "And she knows, and she's been told, that she's going to have to take it because there's a lot of dishing out. I'm obviously not someone to shy away from something and we've got nine more weeks, hopefully."

Chmerkovskiy, a fan favorite, returned to "Dancing with the Stars" after a two-season hiatus.

Davis' longtime Olympic ice skating partner Charlie White is also part of the competition. He had the best judges' score of Monday night, 27 out of 30, with his partner Sharna Burgess.

Earlier in the month, Andrews said she hoped she could offer what Burke-Charvet offered to the dancers.

"Like I said to Brooke, 'If I can be half of what you are to these contestants, I'll be happy,' because every single one of these dancers that have been around her said she's just the kindest person and I just hope to be like that," Andrews told Access Hollywood.
