Eman and Tiffany Moss, the father and stepmother of the 10-year-old Georgia girl whose burned body was found in a garbage bin over the weekend, both had previous child cruelty charges on their rap sheets.
The Mosses were arrested Saturday after Eman Moss called 911 around 3:45 a.m. and told the operator he was at his apartment with a
dead body and was going to kill himself, according to the New York Daily News.
Police were dispatched to his apartment complex in Lawrenceville, Ga., and found Moss standing in a breezeway. When asked about the body, he reportedly pointed at a trashcan and told officers his daughter had died after drinking an unknown chemical.

The Mosses have been charged with murder, cruelty to children, and concealing a person's death, and are being held
without bail at the Gwinnett County Detention Center, according to ABCNews.com.
Eman Moss was reportedly arrested in 2004 on two counts of child cruelty and battery, while Tiffany Moss was
picked up in 2010 on one child cruelty charge, according to the Gwinnett Daily Post.
Danita Leaks, the young girl's biological mother,
told MyFoxAtlanta.com said she and Eman Moss went through a three-year custody battle and she had no idea her daughter was being abused.
"If I would have known that him and his wife were abusing my baby, I would not have let her stay over there," Leaks said.
