In an election results survey, a large majority of participants in a new Politico/Morning Consult poll think that the losing presidential candidate in the upcoming election should accept the results.

Only 14 percent of those surveyed in the poll thought the loser should challenge the results, while 68 percent said the results should be accepted, Politico reported. The poll surveyed both registered and likely voters.

Eighty-seven  percent of Clinton supporters felt that the losing candidate should accept the results, while 49 percent of Trump supporters and 56 percent of Republicans overall felt that way. Only 24 percent of Trump supporters said the results should be contested.

The poll comes as Trump continues to make statements about the election being “rigged” in his opponent’s favor. On Thursday, Trump said that he would only accept the results “if I win.”

Although Trump doesn’t seem to be gaining majority support for his willingness to challenge unfavorable results, nearly half the participants — 46 percent — said it was very or somewhat likely that there will be widespread voter fraud according to the poll.

Of the possible types of fraud, 47 percent of participants believed that there would be intimidation at the ballot box while 41 percent thought voters will cast ballots in the wrong location and 37 percent said that people would vote on behalf of someone dead.

Thirty-one percent of participants in an NBC poll said they might not accept results as legitimate if their candidate didn’t win, with 45 percent of Republicans expressing this view.

Hillary Clinton is currently leading Donald Trump in most polls by a percentage outside the margin of error.
