Though the details haven't been revealed, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and DC Comics are planning something for 2014.

The "Fast and Furious" actor and former wrestler is working with the publisher of Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Green Lantern on a collaboration that could take many forms, including an appearance by Johnson in "Man vs. Steel" sequel, set to debut July 17, 2015.

Directed by Zack Snyder, the film has Ben Affleck lined up to play Batman, Gal Gadot to play Wonder Woman, and Henry Cavill to play Superman. Numerous actors have also been linked to the blockbuster, including Joaquin Phoenix and Denzel Washington, Variety reported.

MTV.com has speculated that Johnson could also breathe life into Lex Luthor, Doomsday, Darkseid or Green Lantern. For the comics, MTV.com speculated that Johnson could be developing "Black Adam" or "Shazam."

Johnson is keeping busy in the meantime. He has already committed to head a 3D disaster movie, "San Andreas," his representative told E! News in October. He also recently completed shooting "Hercules: The Thracian Wars" and is producing "Fast & Furious 7." Both of those films are scheduled for release in July 2014.

In addition to acting and wrestling, Johnson was also a member of the University of Miami's national championship football team in 1991 and briefly played in the Canadian Football League with the Calgary Stampeders. His father, Rocky Johnson, and grandfather, Peter Maivia, were also professional wrestlers.
