The presidential campaign of former Massachusetts governor and presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney now has a celebrity fundraiser on the calendar, which is slated to be held in early September.
Renowned Hollywood actor Robert Duvall is scheduled to host a campaign event for Romney.
The Academy Award winning actor and his wife Luciana will hold a Romney fundraiser on Sept. 6 at their Middleburg, Va. home.
Ann Romney, wife of the former Massachusetts governor and prospective first lady, will be a featured part of the fundraiser, according to promotional materials for the event.
Supporters will donate $2,500 per person to attend a reception and $10,000 per individual for a VIP photo reception. Donations for admission to the dinner event with participants is set at $25,000 per plate.
In addition to his Oscar trophy, over the course of his career Duval has won two Emmy Awards, four Golden Globe Awards, and a BAFTA.
Appearing in some of the most acclaimed and popular films of all time, Duvall’s movie credits include roles in “To Kill a Mockingbird,” “THX 1138,” “Joe Kidd,” “The Godfather,” “The Godfather Part II,” “MASH,” “Network,” “True Grit,” “Bullitt,” “The Conversation,” “Apocalypse Now,” “Tender Mercies,” “The Natural,” and “Lonesome Dove.”
