Drinks are on the house "forever" for a patron who was allegedly accidentally shot by a dancing off-duty FBI agent at a nightclub in Denver on Saturday, the Mile High Spirits Distillery said Monday, according to KDVR-TV.

The Denver Police Department is investigating the incident, which happened early Saturday at the club, where the gun allegedly fell out of the waistband of the agent while he was on the dance floor, the television station said.

A video of the dance floor showed a man doing a backflip when a gun fell out of his back waistband, KDVR-TV said. The weapon appeared to go off when the man picked it up.

The FBI agent was taken to police headquarter and later released to an FBI superior, KDVR-TV said. The patron, who was shot in the leg during the incident, was reported to have a "good prognosis" after being taken to a local hospital, per the television station.

Denver Police said in a statement that was posted on Twitter Monday that charges were pending against the agent and results of its investigation would be forwarded to the Denver district attorney's office for final determination.

Mile High Spirits issued a statement saying that the FBI agent violated its business rules by carrying a loaded weapon into the establishment. It also said the victim will receive free drinks "forever," noted KDVR-TV.

"It is shocking that the only shooting to ever occur at our establishment came about as a result of an FBI agent entering our distillery tasting room carrying a loaded firearm without our knowledge, in violation of our rules," Mile High Spirits said, according to the television station.

"… Our security team was able to execute a catastrophic event plan, ensuring, safe exit of all patrons in the establishment after the shooting. We are deeply saddened by the events that occurred and look forward to speaking with representatives of the FBI, so we can come to understand his presence and his need to be armed in our establishment. The whole team at Mile High Spirits is praying for the victim's quick recovery, and he's welcome at Mile High Spirits to enjoy complimentary drinks forever," the statement continued.
