President Donald Trump crashed another wedding, this time on Saturday in New Jersery and causing quite a stir at Kristen Piatkowski and Tucker Gladhill's reception.
According to CNN, the newly-wed couple were holding their reception at the Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster, where the president happened to be staying over the weekend while headlining a private fundraiser for Rep. Tom MacArthur there on Sunday evening.
It was said guests at the wedding were unaware of Trump's presence until Secret Service agents entered the room to ensure guests would not crowd in on the president. Now there’s speculation Trump’s visit wasn’t impromptu, but anyways video footage posted by CNN shows the president in high spirits, congratulating the bride and groom, posing for photos and shaking hands with guests.
Trump has been known to join parties at his resorts. The New York Post recalled how the president, along with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, popped into a wedding reception being held in February at Mar-a-lago, Trump’s private resort in Florida.
There have also been rumors that Trump surprised a group of students who were celebrating their eight-grade graduation at the New Jersey club on Friday evening with a visit, as well.
The Washington Post said an Instagram photo which later was made private, a Far Hills Country Day School student wrote: “The president showed up to our grad party. Just another run of the mill day.”
It has emerged that Trump National Golf Club published a brochure noting the likelihood of the president making an appearance at special events. It was even touted as an added benefit for couples looking to make a booking at the venue.
