Diane Kruger believes that therapy — along with talking about the therapy — has helped in her relationship with actor Joshua Jackson, the actress said in an interview for August's Marie Claire magazine.
The London Mail's Sarah Bull said the Marie Claire article quoted Kruger as saying that therapy has helped her deal with all aspects of her life and it's been good for her to talk about it openly.

"It's funny, in Paris people don't talk about it," Kruger said in the Marie Claire interview, according to The Mail. "But here everyone talks about it, and I really like that about America. Therapy's not about getting help; it's facilitating yourself to deal better with life in general."
The German actress has appeared in such films as "National Treasure" and its sequel, "Inglourious Basterds," "Unknown," and "Troy,"
according to IMDb.com. She made a cameo appearance in the television show "Fringe" in 2010, which stars Jackson.
Jackson, former teen star of the television series "Dawson's Creek,"
saw "Fringe" come to an end in January, according to Spinoff Online. The series began in 2008. His last movie was 2012's "Inescapable" with Alexander Siddig and Marisa Tomei, according to IMDb.
A source told US Weekly in its June 17 edition that Kruger and Jackson were planning on getting married after being together for seven years.
"Josh and Diane are very close to getting engaged," the source said in US Weekly article. "They decided they're ready for the next step. They're excited!"
Kruger revealed in the Marie Claire interview, according to the Mail, that her relationship has taken a lot of maintenance, but didn't see that as being any different from other past relationships.
"All relationships are hard," The Mail reported Kruger as saying in the Marie Claire article. "It doesn't matter what job you have, or how famous or miserable or poor you are. It's about commitment. I'm grateful that I met a person who feels the same about me, but also about our relationship. But therapy helps too."
Kruger was married to French actor and filmmaker Guillaume Canet for five years until it ended in 2006, said US Weekly.
