Model Diana Veras won over social media fans after responding to a reported troll who body shamed her online.
On June 11, the New York-based plus-size model posted photos of herself on Twitter in a pink bikini.
Fox News reported that along with the supportive comments, there was one person that commented: "You're fat."
Veras responded with the comment "And? The f*** lmaooo," noted Fox News. She added a Twitter post with more photos.
"Here's more of my lil chubby a** in a bathing suit since it offends men so much," she said on Twitter.
That second post on June 12 went viral, being retweeted more than 16,700 times and liked more than 76,800 times.
"Sadly, some people appeared to be personally offended by the idea of a woman enjoying her body and displaying it on the Internet," wrote Ellen Scott, of Metro in the United Kingdom. "Diana received some comments bashing her size, her looks, and all the other things that rubbish people on the internet like to criticize.
"Diana decided not to back down. She did not decide to hide her body in shame. Instead, she fought back by loving her body even harder," Scott continued.
Mary Anderson, of Insider.com added: "Body shaming is never okay, but Veras' fearless response is the best clap back we've ever seen."
Many on social media came to Veras's defense.
