White House senior adviser David Plouffe says he has no interest in whether liberal Rep. Anthony Weiner approves of the $38 billion in

spending cuts agreed to late Friday, and says the agreement is a good deal for the country,
Politico reports.
Weiner, D-N.Y., tweeted after the spending cuts deal that he had a "bad feeling" about the agreement.
Speaking Sunday on CNN’s “Face the Nation,” Plouffe said the deal that extended the Bush-era tax cuts for the wealthy was the "absolute right thing to do" and will contribute to positive economic growth.
