A Cumberland, Wisconsin, senior prank was so well done even the police are laughing.

Four seniors at Cumberland High School set up the elaborate prank Sunday at midnight using one student’s junk car to make it look like a car had crashed through a wall at the school, the Twin Cities Pioneer Press reported.

Someone called police Monday morning to report the accident, but police were impressed when they arrived to find the ruse.

“What they did was really creative,” police chief Rick Rieper said, the Pioneer Press reported.

Black plastic made it look like the car had broken through the brick wall, and matching bricks added to the effect.

The Cumberland Police Department even posted pictures on Facebook, writing “hats off to Cumberland High School Class of 2018” and congratulating them on “one of the best senior pranks that Cumberland High School has seen” with congratulations on their graduation.

Konur Pasko owned the car that was used, and fellow students Cody Paul, Adrian Warner, and Jacob Woodley helped Pasco take the car apart and cut the front off to make it look more real realistic, the Pioneer Press reported.

Once they had the car ready, they arranged the scene in only seven minutes in order to avoid attracting unwanted attention.

“We didn’t want to be there long because we didn’t want to attract attention,” Pasko said, the Pioneer Press reported.

Principal Ritchie Narges said the scene soon became a major attraction with school attendees and members of the public showing up to take pictures, the newspaper said.
