Courteney Cox regrets the "horrible" results from cosmetic surgery over the years and blamed the pressures of Hollywood for undergoing the procedures.

Cox, 51, who starred in the popular sitcom "Friends" from 1994 to 2004, made the comments on NBC's adventure show "Running Wild with Bear Grylls" and admitted having second thoughts about fighting old age through cosmetic surgery procedures, according to Cosmopolitan magazine.

"I think there's a pressure to maintain (your looks) not just because of fame, but just being a woman in this business," Cox said. "Getting older, I don't think that's the easiest thing. But I have learned lessons. I think I was trying to keep up with getting older and trying to chase that. It's something you can't keep up with."

"Sometimes you find yourself trying, and then you look at a picture of yourself and you go, 'Oh God, I look horrible.' I have done things that I regret, and luckily there are things that dissolve and go away. So that's good because it's not always been my best look."

Cox, who also starred in the television series "Cougar Town" from 2009 to 2015, admitted to using Botox and doing "anything" to feel good in a 2012 interview with The Telegraph.

"I am an absolute guinea pig for anything that will keep me feeling good," Cox told The Telegraph. "If someone says, 'You should try apple stem cells,' guess who'll be putting them on her face the next day. Look, I'm close to 50. Getting older isn't easy for anybody. Especially here in Los Angeles. So let's be clear: looking youthful is something I do a lot of research on. Man, I could use some Botox right now."

Cox found support on social media.
