Corey Feldman’s list of predators dating back to the Michael Jackson pedophile investigation actually does exist, police now say, after denying there was any record of claims made by the former child star in 1993, Fox News reported.

Feldman earlier this year revealed that he had provided the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office with the names of multiple sexual predators in Hollywood during their investigation into molestation allegations lodged against the late pop star nearly 15 years ago, but nothing was ever done about it.

In an online post last month, Feldman said he is "forever grateful" to the women who came forward with sexual harassment allegations against Harvey Weinstein because the story has resurrected interest in his own claims of sexual abuse.

Officials had persistently denied any record of such information, but on Tuesday the sheriff’s office backtracked and said there was such a report.

In a statement to Fox News, the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office said it decided to go back and look at additional stored items remaining from the Michael Jackson investigation.

“In a container which included the original reports from the investigation, the sheriff’s office located some detective working copies of audio recordings made during the investigation,” the statement read.

Among those audio recordings was an interview with Feldman, which has now been handed over to the Los Angeles Police Department, the sheriff’s office said.

“Due to the fact that this case involves the alleged sexual abuse of a child, we are unable to comment further and any documentation or evidence related to this case is exempt from release.”

The search of old evidence was prompted after Feldman told Matt Lauer, now former “Today” show host, that he had listed various known Hollywood sexual predators for police.

"If anyone wants to go back to 1993 when I was interviewed by the Santa Barbara Police Department, I sat down and I gave them the names," Feldman told Lauer, the New York Daily News reported. "They're on record. They have all this information. "

The actor said police were only interested at the time in obtaining information on Michael Jackson but that many people were aware of the other names he accused as pedophiles.

Feldman has been vocal about his concerns about the entertainment industry and how moguls take advantage of children, based on personal experience.

The Associated Press reported in November that the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed it is investigating sexual assault claims made by Feldman, but no arrests have been made.

Feldman had appeared on "The Dr. Oz Show" to discuss his claims of widespread pedophilia in Hollywood, saying he was sexually assaulted as a young actor and witnessed sexual abuse of other young performers.

Feldman has set about raising $10 million in efforts to produce a movie that raises awareness by addressing the topic of sexual abuse based upon his own personal experience, The Huffington Post reported.
